As part of our Science we are learning about hot and cold temperatures. Last week we experimented with "blubber" and talked about how it is a good insulator for animals. Today we talked about what makes a good insulator. Pictured above are examples of three of insulators we talked about. We challenge you to create your own insulator at home and bring it in to the classroom next week to share with everyone.
After our lesson about insulators we also talked about what happens to snow/ice when heat is applied. Ask your child about what we discussed and how we made the snowman melt.
